As part of the Canal Plan, nine pilot projects have been selected to provide an exemplary demonstration of how to integrate new forms of functional mix into the region, harmonizing economic activity with other functions such as housing, amenities and recreational spaces.
One of these projects involves setting up two separate activities on a concession northwest of Brussels. It involves the construction of branches for Van Marcke Technics and Defrancq. Both activities are aimed primarily at building professionals, each operating in different sectors.
The complex is designed as one large building, using identical facade materials and a homogeneous composition to create a coherent visual unity. The two activities are distinguished by their respective entrances and by the specific elements of each brand (signage, logos, colors), thus preserving their distinct identities.
